FUGGIRE O MORIRE: Migratory routes from sub-Saharan countries to Europe

idi itaReport by Medici per i Diritti Umani (MEDU) which is based on the information and testimonies collected in the first 6 months of activity of the project "ON TO: Stopping the torture of refugees from Sub-Saharan countries along the migratory route to Northern Africa" at the Centri di Accoglienza Straordinaria (CAS) for asylum seekers in the province of Ragusa and the Centro di Accoglienza per Richiedenti Asilo (CARA) in Mineo, in the province of Catania. Data and testimonies gathered in the course of eight months of activity in some informal settlements of migrants forced to Rome (occupied buildings, baraccopoli, railroad stations...) will also be reported.
