Al 1\u00b0 gennaio 2016 la<br \/>popolazione totale \u00e8 di 60 milioni 656 mila residenti.<br \/>Gli stranieri residenti in Italia al 1\u00b0 gennaio 2016&nbsp;sono 5 milioni 54 mila e rappresentano l\u20198,3% della&nbsp;popolazione totale. Rispetto a un anno prima si&nbsp;riscontra un incremento di 39 mila unit\u00e0.
