The work will be produced in 2024 and is expected to be released in early 2025. The theme aims to analyze migration as a theological place. Texts can be sent in Spanish or Portuguese, according to the format and criteria established in the Call for Proposals. CSEM Publishing requests pre-registration with a brief summary of the idea behind the article.

According to the Call for Proposals, migrations, border spaces and the search for refuge, for example, are “an epistemic and vital place from which bodies must be recognized and thought of as subjects. Subjects who experience racism, homotransphobia, physical and sexual violence, as well as multiple other situations in which their corporealities are considered disposable or ‘garbage bodies’ that no one claims, ending up in underground pits, just like the tortured, raped and murdered body of Jesus of Nazareth.”.

To think of human mobility as a theological place is to accept the challenge posed to the churches and to theology itself, to understand and interpret human experiences in these trajectories, as well as “to understand bodies, and especially the body of Christ incarnated in the bodies of diverse LGBTTTIQ+ sexualities, of women who suffer sexual violations in migratory transit, the bodies of victims of trafficking and/or prostitution, the bodies of sexually diverse people who suffer violations, the bodies enslaved by drug trafficking or criminal gangs. Even Christology must be developed from the epistemology of migrant bodies as a theological place”.

This is the proposal for reflection that we want to present in this issue.

Access and share!

[48
post-22911","csem_em_foco","type-csem_em_foco","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-48
["GET
