REMHU - Interdisciplinary Journal of Human Mobility
REMHU's editorial team would like to announce a call for new submissions. referees to work on the peer review of the articles received by the journal. The work is carried out in voluntary and has an annual attendance certificate.
Prerequisites:
Have, at least a master's degreepreferably in Humanities and Social Sciences or related areas, in a recognized Postgraduate Program.
REMHU's objectives:
REMHU's OBJECTIVE is to offer the academic world, thinkers and those involved in migration policies and pastoral work, analysis interdisciplinary themes related to contemporary human mobility at international level.
Lines of Research: migration, human mobility, refuge and related issues from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The referee's duties
The role of a referee is to issue an opinion on a given scientific article on a subject of expertise, based on the evaluation form provided by the platform.
When selecting articles, is evaluated the relevance of the topic, the quality of the scientific methodology, the originality and consistency of the results, the analytical rigor, the coherence of the conclusions, the pertinence, relevance and timeliness of the bibliography used, the suitability of the scope and editorial standards adopted by the journal. Manuscripts can be a) accepted, b) rejected, c) accepted with corrections or d) a new submission can be requested.
Once you have been contacted, you will have one week to reply as to whether or not you are available for the review; if you are accepted, you will have three weeks to send the review. If there are any unforeseen circumstances, the editors should be contacted immediately. Remaining on the referees' list is conditional on respecting the deadlines and the quality of the evaluation.

How do I register as a referee?
- To become referee of REMHU, just register on the REMHU website with the role of "Evaluator"and complete all the required fields correctly and in detail, paying special attention to "Areas of interest for evaluation".
- After that, send an e-mail to remhu@csem.org.br communicating the registration.
