Intra-regional international migration in Latin America and the Caribbean - Roberto Marinucci
In recent years, it has become increasingly common to talk about migration from Latin America and the Caribbean in terms of extra-regional emigration. In fact, since the 1980s, the number of Latin Americans and Caribbeans migrating to North America or other continents has grown significantly. The challenges of extra-regional migration, however, seem to be masking intra-Latin American and Caribbean migration, i.e. intra-regional international migration between the countries of the region (Latin America and the Caribbean).
