PUBLISHER

The CSEM Publishing House operates in two areas: the production and editing of the Interdisciplinary Journal of Human Mobility - REMHU and the publication of its own books or in partnership with related organizations. All the activities of the CSEM Publishing House are related to the fulfillment of CSEM's mission to foster, produce and disseminate scientific and interdisciplinary knowledge on migration and forced displacement and related processes, from a human rights perspective.

CSEM publishes in different languages and aims to reach different audiences, especially migrants/refugees and professionals who work and study issues related to human mobility.

Most of the texts are produced in pdf ebook format and are also printed. Books in digital format are free to access and printed books are sold and can be ordered by emailing csem@csem.org.br.

CSEM Publishing's book series are:

The Migration Series publishes interdisciplinary texts on topics related to human mobility. Among the volumes in the Migrations Series, the publishing house has already published studies by CSEM collaborators, collections of studies organized by CSEM, as well as texts produced at events organized by CSEM or in related partnerships.

The Paths Series publishes authorial studies and collections related to pastoral theology and human mobility, as well as events related to pastoral themes with a focus on migration and refuge.

The Memories Series publishes studies and narratives with a historical approach, especially focusing on the work of the Scalabrinian Missionary Sisters. This series includes the History of the Congregation, written by historian Lice Maria Signor.

The Ecumene Series aims to respond to a lack of publications on the theology of human mobility aimed primarily at religious/ecclesial leaders working in the academic, institutional or pastoral spheres.

Developed in partnership with CLAR - the Latin American Confederation of Religious, the Ecumene Series is a multi-year project to produce and publish studies on the theology of human mobility, with a view to promoting reflection and action in the field of migration and refuge. The editorial project - Série Ecumene - produces, in Portuguese and Spanish, thematic collections related to human mobility, which are also available in digital form for free download.

The Caminando con los Migrantes series produces and disseminates publications coordinated and developed in conjunction with the Apostolic Mission Commission of the Provinces of the Congregation of the Scalabrinian Missionary Sisters. Its aim is to strengthen and give visibility to the Spanish-speaking MSCS Scalabrinian missions. The volumes published in this series are an opportunity to systematize good practices, contribute to local literature and document the actions of the MSCS Sisters and mission collaborators. Data collected and produced by the Paroikos System contributes to this Series.
