On August 16, the CSEM team had the joy of receiving a visit from the Archbishop of Brasilia, Dom Sérgio da Rocha. The director, Sr Terezinha Santin, welcomed him, presented the main projects of the Study Center and invited each member of the team to introduce themselves.
The Archbishop then said a prayer, blessed the workspaces and thanked the CSEM for its work on behalf of migrants, encouraging everyone to live with hope and joy, discovering God's surprises in their own lives and work. He added that even though he has little time, he is available to help in any way he can.
Together with the parish priest of Our Lady of Health Church, Fr. Kazimierz Wojno, she left a souvenir of the visit. The director, in turn, thanked her for the visit and offered her the books: "Scalabrini and Modern Migrations" and "International Migration and Domestic Work. Peruvian women in Brasilia".
