This report will be the first to be released after the publication of Decree No. 9.199, of November 20, 2017, which regulates Law No. 13.445, of May 24, 2017, the new Migration Law. In this sense, it aims to present, in addition to the data on work permits - Temporary and Permanent - granted to migrants by the General Coordination of Immigration (CGIg), of the Ministry of Labor (MTb), governed by the old legal framework, the data on permits issued based on the new regulations, work permits - Residence and Prior Residence - also granted to migrants, comparing the volume of permits granted in 2017 to those granted in 2016.
