In common language, we often speak of friendship, or its opposite, in terms that are too defined and schematic. O l'amore c'è o não c'è, si sente dire. In the reality of people, it's not like that. Within our hearts, there are simultaneous feelings of openness and availability, alongside more obscure and rigid feelings of closure. A line of demarcation is no longer easy to draw.
